SEGA is looking to make high quality Sonic games with longer development

Since 2017 which Sonic Forces released the game was very mixed upon critical reviews compared to Sonic Mania it's been past two years since Sonic had any other 3D title. As of yesterday the latest Sonic Livestream held yesterday on the main Youtube and Twitch page Sonic the Hedgehog after so long during COVID-19.  In the stream Aaron Webber has informed on the stream that cleared up the issue, and mentioning SEGA knowing the fact 3D Sonic titles are not going where it should be due to rushed production.  Few years ago during the time most of the development teams decided to agree on putting more things while proceeding foward in development which is known for the reasons of the dissapprence of the games.

​In my personal opinion.
I think it's good to see SEGA try to place out something upon this, but sadly, with how Sonic Forces did, I really am not sure how Sonic will live up in the 3D genre at this point after what Forces have done.
Now there are some excellent games like Sonic Heroes and Sonic Mania.
But honestly, if Sonic want's to move forward, they really need to step up the development game and try to think of how the game could even surpass the previous ones also take notes what went wrong with the earlier games on feedback.
I am okay with waiting for a new game, and the longer it's being developed with higher quality, then it's fine with me, but we know how sometimes they can be and that they could slip in a puddle by joking around,  ending up with something terrible. 
We will honestly have to wait to see what SEGA pulls up on this wait nor reveal super soon as I am open for another Sonic Adventure, remakes, or even an Open World game.

​Hopefully, we get more news on Sonic the Hedgehog in the future...
