Well well, Bungo let's see what you have in store for us! Do Note: This has also thoughts on the Expansion, Season and More. Sorry, I haven't been active much. Life hits fast, and knowing that time changes quickly. Just crazy how much gaming's involved over time, though we must also discuss Destiny 2 stuff here, it seems, and I am excited. As of recently, Bungie's Annual Event kicked off today to show what is next for Destiny 2 and specifically the new current season, plus other fun goodies for us in store. During the event: I was amazed by their community with its art, base, opinions, and feedback they bring, the connections they make with people in the game show people are out here to show it's more than being a game is lovely; with the time going down to a quick zero through all the awesome things we hear. With it beginning looks like the same awesome folks from the Witch Queen announcement come in, and it seems we are slowly entering this end of the Light and Darkness Saga. With that ending beginning in Lightfall, which probably plays out like the first part of the end like with Avengers: Infinity War where we lose against Thanos or The Witness. Then the Finale is Avengers: End Game or where we transverse or something to prevent the second collapse and end the Witness's reign and I believe they are going this route; it looks in this tone, but it seems cranked up to the max level, so let's look at the trailer for Destiny 2: Lightfall! When I saw this for the first time, my thoughts were: "Oh, it's Cabal, but what are they packing? Wait a minute, this is a new place? IS THIS EVEN DESTINY? WOAH NEW POWERS, AWESOME!" etc. Did it feel like old-school vibes with a relaxed 80s vibe flowing around the location, or maybe Cyberpunk and Dead Space? Explicitly saying this looks like the new Subclass will be fun to try out and play with personally. The new location we seem to explore is on Neptune, where Calus has landed his pyramid from the Moon in this sick Neon City or Neon Metropolis, and you could say, of course, with his Shadow Legion being up to no good here Just these new subclasses look fantastic, and it is called Strand seems like a fun thing to see. Warlocks look to be the Architects here, using their mind and letting Strand do its Bidding, which I love how they placed out where you just throw it out, and it lends out missiles, etc. Hunters look fantastic here, showing how strong and vicious they are with their class (Titans too, of course!), kind of like a Threadrunner mastering the cunning of strength and speed to keep their foes in the strings. Titans look like a fun first class, though when I saw the footage in the event, it reminded me of Beyblades! (I feel so bad for saying that), It will be fun to use a new Beyblade technique besides the big hammer super. Even smashing foes with these threads in the Strand class might be unique as one could do damage, speed, or healing; anything seems possible as time could tell here; anything seems likely. Anything seems likely. Anything seems likely. Even though I am excited to use the grapple hook and explore the location, they've shown in the trailer ultimately. Whatever they want to show us in the end over time about Strand in full compacity and customization, I will be here waiting to hear what they have in stock for it! The new civilization seems quite interesting to seek out or learn from, possibly in the expansion known as the Cloud Striders, who decided to protect their people and city. Despite we are here, of course, knowing the End is coming, we must try to Outrun the collapse and use these powers to survive. Honestly, the Legendary Campaign is something I am excited to try and it even being placed with the same amazing folks from Witch Queen makes me excited to see what they got in this one too. I want to say also big win and decision for even deciding on no longer sunset expansions. One thing I want is a return to Red War and Forsaken campaigns. The Prices, it seems, for Destiny 2: Lightfall look a little different and more pricy than the previous price of $39.99 on Witch Queen, except it’s the same $100 option (but no additional expansion or pack) in my opinion it's really up to you to decide! Prices: Standard Edition* - $49.99 Annual Pass+ Lightfall Expansion (Annual Pass Edition)** - $99.99 Collector's Edition (comes with Exo Strangers Fish Ghost (actually called a Pouka) and other goodies, plus Standard Expansion with Annual Pass version aka Deluxe) - $249.99 Collector's Edition (No Expansion + Annual Pass / No Expansion aka No Game Code) - $149.99 PRE ORDER BONUSES FOR VERSIONS: (NOTE: the symbol ** is for the $99.99 Expansion and * is for the Standalone Expansion for $50.) Lightfall (Standard/Standalone)* - $50 : Just only the Exotic Ghost and Legendary Emblem. Annual Pass Edition (LightFall + 4 Seasons for the Year)** - $99.99 : Exotic Ghost, Legendary Emblem, Exotic Emote, Exotic Sparrow and Early Access to the new Auto Rifle Kinetic known as the Quicksilver Storm and with Rahool's Secret Stash per season. It seems like a lot to think about the exciting stuff here, and I recommend choosing wisely; other countries may vary according to the prices here, shown by the way! Let's pass aside here and continue forward and check out its trailer for Season 18: Season of Plunder and mostly what Drifter would say here from how it sounds. "PIRATES!" Time to get some booty and gear up for a season of plundering, matey! Season of Plunder looks like a pirate adventure for many to explore and play! Ketchcrash and engage ships to stop Eramis and her crew from causing trouble upon wreaking havoc in the galaxy. Check out Expedition with a team of three to assemble and dig up treasure while fending off pirate crews, or maybe just do the weekly missions of finding pirate hideouts with pirate lords protecting the powerful treasure. Also, yeah. Fortnite and Destiny collaborated with some stuff in honor of Destiny 2 coming to Epic Game Store, too, it seems, so do check out the armor set in the Eververse shop, too, if you like! Arc 3.0 looks like a fun chaining and speed mechanic entirely for everyone, too, like just man.
Hunter’s getting a new super with ways to be more fun in the game was needed big time for this stretch. Warlocks are just being Emperor Palpatine in most things they do. Titans are the one punch or chaining masterminds in most areas in fists; it’s astonishing how it looks so far and how many crazy combos and customizations players can come up with in the new changes. With that said, I am excited to see what Bungie comes up next in Lightfall and beyond; I do see it being bright so far, but there are some hiccups here and there on the road, but I can see it being more improved over time. Bungie has much to improve forward, and they are showing it. They hear the community, even if it doesn’t look or sound like they are., Destiny 2 is slowly improving every moment; even seeing King’s Fall back as a returning raid is incredible for some people waiting for an expectant return with a raid race for the world first of this fun raid, despite that. We are slowly looking like Destiny 2 is gradually going to the right turn for its future. Though it’s not there just yet, I can tell it's gradually getting better with every step it takes, though that’s just me, probably. Till then.. Game On! -Timothy Stambaugh (TimTheGamer12/Tim)
