Nintendo confirms Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Order date for US/Canada and maintains console price.

About time... right?

It seems after a long wait due to the wait of situations going on around the US for April 9th and then Canada to join alongside during its delay, it seems that now after a long, subtle wait, curiosity has finally come around for Nintendo to finally provide a date for the United States and Canada.

So let's mostly begin with the good and bad news.
The good news is that Nintendo has decided to keep the console pricing around $449.99 USD for the standard and the Mario Kart World Bundle at $499.99 USD in the US and for Canada, being $629.99 CAD and $699.99 CAD
US and Canada tend to have Pre-Orders at the ready on April 24th at local retailers.

​I also recommend checking your local retailer on what times they may have for Pre-Orders if interested in snagging this system or system bundle while at it since some may do it at 11PM PST / 12AM EST, etc.

The only bad news so far is that some prices may go up for the accessories for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Also, not to mention the games specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2 haven't changed in the US, leaving Donkey Kong Bananza at $69.99 USD and Mario Kart World at $79.99 USD, except Canada seems to be pretty crazy for these games, with Mario Kart World being around a whopping $109.99 CAD and Donkey Kong Bananza at a steep price of $99.99 CAD.

​Despite that, now all most have to do now if snagging the console is just simply wait for the pre-order date and be ready as soon as they go live online or available to pre-order specifically in store, or some may tend to wait later on down the line to snag one, which is completely valid to do, as I would say.
